Arbor Day Activities with Rotary Club

arbor day

Each year for over the  past twenty years, every fourth grader in Wellesley is given a tree to plant at home in honor of Arbor Day thanks to the Rotary Club.

Suzy Jordon, Wellesley’s Town Horticultural Technician, leads a group of 12 volunteers in bagging over 400 tree saplings with dirt in plastic bags for distribution to all fourth graders.

It is a fun project and only takes 2 hours. They gather April 18th at the DPW at 4:00 PM. Please join!
