Wellesley Dental Group is Going SolarWellesley Dental Group will be the first business in Wellesley to “go solar”.

To celebrate, Dr’s. Ali and Ali will host a MORE Power to Choose Solar open house and ceremony honoring organizations in town working on the campaign on Friday, July 18th from 10-11 am at their office at 5 Seaward Rd.

Wellesley Selectman Ellen Gibbs will honor Wellesley Dental Group and Sustainable Energy Committee Chair, Ellen Korpi will give out certificates to local organizations that have been vital to the MORE Power to Choose Solar campaign including Sustainable Wellesley!

Drs. Ali and Ali are proud of this next step in their mission to reduce their impact on the environment, as well as being part of Wellesley’s sustainability-oriented initiative. Wellesley Dental Group first had an energy assessment, and then decided — due to the local solar initiative — to invest in solar.

“Creating our own clean energy is not only a great economic choice but also is a step towards a common goal of creating a better environment for our children,” said Dr. Femina Ali, D.M.D.. “Clients that come into our office will most likely inquire about the system and we will proudly share with them the benefits of solar energy and our savings,” Ali said.

Rain date is Friday July 25th.
