There are many events going on in and around Wellesley (check them out here) and lots of ideas in this newsletter and on our Facebook page.

Enjoy the summer and let us know what sustainable ideas and concerns you have. Together we can make a difference.

Best wishes,
Alex, Jeff, Lise, Quentin, Phyllis, Scott (our new interns Keenan and Matthew too!)

Keenan and MatthewWelcome Keenan and Matthew!

Sustainable Wellesley is thrilled to introduce you to our two new fabulous interns. Keenan Ashbrook and Matthew Hornung have been involved with environmental activism since the sixth grade, working with organizations ranging from the Wellesley High School and Middle School Green Teams and Wellesley Green Schools to the Wellesley Village Church Environmental Ministry and Town of Wellesley Sustainable Energy Committee. They will be sharing their passion, intelligence and creativity with the team.

Their work will focus around motivating residents to make their homes more sustainable; researching and improving the Town’s recycling rate; and developing education strategies surrounding public transportation.
