Monarch-1-boost

The beautiful Monarch Butterfly populations are unfortunately declining. One reason is the lack of the milkweed that Monarch caterpillars *must* eat to survive.

We have that milkweed – a beautiful pink and white plant that attracts lots of beautiful butterflies and can bring them to your home.  More than 50 Wellesley homes have already ordered through us, so be on the lookout for milkweed and Monarchs all over Town!

Better yet, order your own milkweed plants here.

More Milkweed plugs — just right for MA, Asclepias incarnata — are here.

What is milkweed you ask?

It is the only plant which Monarch caterpillars – a beautiful and important insect that has been dropping in population for two decades – can feed on.

So get your easy to maintain 4 ‘plugs’ – small stumps of plants for FREE.

Voluntary $10 donation are welcome to help set up more for the spring.

Also, let us know if you are up for some ‘guerilla’ planting at road medians, under power lines, unused lots etc. – any ideas welcome!

They flourish best in full sun, with average to moist soil.
