WMS Green Ambassador Program launched this week in the 6th grade. The Program was kicked off with a lunch at WMS last Friday that included 45+ 6th grade Green Ambassadors, 6th grade teachers, the WMS Green Team members as well as Wellesley Green Schools and parent volunteers. Quentin Prideaux, a WMS parent and Wellesley Green Schools volunteer, gave a presentation on climate change. Quentin was trained on the topic as part of Al Gore’s Climate Reality Project.These student Green Ambassadors will be sharing sustainable information and initiatives with their classmates in order to inspire ecologically minded students and community. Topics include fossil fuels, garbage, recycling/reusing and transportation.
