Want to be part of the solution?  We need your help!  There are opportunities to fit all schedules starting at one morning a year!  Jobs you can do from your favorite spot:

Administrative​

Marketers- looking for creative designers to create engaging social media designs  
SEO experts- help us widen our reach
Website Manager
 - check in on our website (weebly) quarterly to be sure things are working as intended, be on-call to troubleshoot our site when needed
Writers - are always welcome to write convincing, accurate press releases/blog posts
Volunteer Co-ordinator - oversee Sustainable Wellesley's dedicated volunteers, manage volunteer list

Development

Development - help up with fundraising - creativity welcome!
Grant Developer - help us 
launch a "Sustainable Wellesley Community Grant" with the goal of awarding a grant to Wellesley student working on an environmental sustainability project or idea

Political Action and Presence

Nominating Committee - help identify candidates to run for town board and committee seats to make sure that the sustainability topic is “in the room where it happens”
Legislative advocacy leader(s) - track bills on energy, pesticides, plastics and other issues and offer ways Wellesley residents can advocate for them

Help us at Town Events -

Wellesley's Wonderful Weekend (May) - recycling volunteer
July Jubilation (July :) - staff the sustainable Wellesley information table and help sell milkweed for monarchs
Wellesley Marketplace (December) - staff an information table and help with sustainable gift wrap

Social 

Book Club Organizer - Organize monthly or other annual all town reads around books such as Bea Johnson's "Zero Waste Home"
Sewing Bee Coordinator - Coordinate sewing bees throughout town, recruiting folks that sew and collect fabric to be used for sewing simple Furoshiki Cloths. More information here. [need new link]
Liaison to WEF on ways to keep climate, environmental sustainable part of the STEM EXPO

High School and College Students

Internships - College students and High School Juniors and seniors and looking for meaningful internships please send us your CV. 

Don’t see something here that you want to take action on? 

Maybe you want to teach a class on canning? Waste Free Home tricks, Gardening, etc., simply let us know.  Sustainable Wellesley is open to diverse backgrounds and ideas.
