Missed the Native Plant Sale? Still want butterflies?

Did you know that Monarch butterflies only eat Milkweed?
Fortunately, the plants are very easy to grow and to propagate.

Welcome Monarchs to your property by purchasing milkweed plants
sourced through the Native Plant Trust in Framingham.

Milkweed Plants

The variety is Asclepias tuberosa.
We are offering quart-sized container plants, larger than the "plugs" sold in the past.

Sale Details

Order plants now through June 19th.
Only 40 plants available, so don't wait!
Each plant costs $14+tax.
Limit of 3 plants per household.

Environmental Equity

The price includes a slight markup to provide funding so that all in town can participate in this effort. If you have questions, or you are interested in learning more about subsidized plants available, please reach out to info@sustainablewellesley.com.

Pick-Up

Plants will be available for pick-up in Wellesley on June 19, 2021.
You will receive an email, text, or call with additional information on how to pick up your Milkweed.
SOLD OUT!

Thanks for helping Pollinate Wellesley!

Thank you for joining us in creating a pollinator pathway - through Wellesley and beyond! This pathway helps butterflies (and other native species like hummingbirds and beneficial bugs) move through our landscape by providing them with shelter and nectar. Learn a little more about Milkweed here!
