Dr. Marybeth Martello, Wellesley's Sustainability Director, will will discuss actions the Town of Wellesley is considering to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and build resilience to climate impacts. A question-and-answer session will follow the presentation on Wednesday, November 10th, 7:00pm.

The Town's Climate Action Committee (formerly the Sustainable Energy Committee) has been working to create a multi facited climate action plan to help Wellesley meet its goal -- voted on in Town Meeting -- to achieve net zero greenhouse gas emissions by 2050. The plan focuses on energy, buildings, mobility, waste, natural resources, and governance.
