We HEAR you.
We get emails from many of you about loud leaf blowers and mowers and know you want quieter, healthier land care. It is time to ask for what you want or make a change for quieter, greener practices.
At our landscaping Zoom workshops a few years ago panelists shared information about the hazards to operators and residents using gas-powered equipment. Breathing fumes from fossil fuel emissions can cause lung damage and other health issues, noise can be irritating and lead to hearing loss, plus particulate pollution that can include pesticides and animal feces can also be a hazard for operators and customers.
Below is a short list of landscapers that we have heard about that have offered organic and electric-powered land care options in the past. We want to grow this list! If you know of others, please reach out here.

We get it, you love your current landscape crew. If they are still using gas-powered equipment, consider discussing ways they might transition their offerings to include a more earth-friendly approach. These crews are there to serve you and may appreciate your input. Considering asking them to use their blowers less often or have them rake instead.
Some of you are pulling up grass and planting native plants, while others are easing up on expectations of a perfectly coiffed yard. Email us and send pictures of your quieter, healthier options. Thanks!
